I use eBird all the time and on a recent trip entered 100 Golden-crowned Kinglets (there were probably many more) and eBird was like "That's a lot for this bird" or something... I guess you really need to see a LOT of birds to get eBird to give you a "Wow".

We also saw about 1,000 Bald Eagles along the Mississippi River in Illinois.
